It all started when my father began growing Thuja plants in our garden in Georgia. What started as a hobby quickly turned into something bigger — neighbors wanted them, friends asked where to buy, and we realized there was no easy way for growers and buyers to connect.

How does the escrow payment work?

When you buy a plant, your payment is held securely by our platform — not sent directly to the seller. The seller only receives the money after you confirm the plant arrived in good condition. You have a 3-day inspection window after delivery.

What if my plant arrives damaged?

You can open a dispute within the 3-day inspection window. Upload photos of the damage, and our mediation team will review the case within 48 hours. You can request a full refund, partial refund, or replacement.

How do I become a seller?

Click "Sell Your Plants" and register as a seller. You'll need to provide your name, location, phone number, and describe what plants you grow. Once registered, you can immediately start creating listings.

What fees does the platform charge?

Buyers pay a 7% service fee on each purchase. This covers escrow protection, dispute resolution, and platform maintenance. Sellers receive the full listed price — no seller fees.

Can I sell seeds, fertilizers, or gardening tools?

Yes! მწვანე ბაზარი supports multiple categories: Plants, Seeds, Fertilizers, and Materials. You can list any gardening-related product.

How does delivery work?

You can choose between local pickup (free) or courier delivery (₾10). For local pickup, you and the seller coordinate a meeting point via in-app messaging. For courier delivery, the seller ships to your address.

How do I know if a seller is trustworthy?

Look for the "Verified Grower" badge — sellers earn this after 5+ successful orders with a 4.0+ star rating. You can also check their profile for reviews, ratings, and how long they've been on the platform.

What is the "Plant Arrived Healthy" badge?

When buyers confirm their plant arrived in good condition, it counts toward the seller's "Plant Arrived Healthy" percentage. This is displayed on listings so future buyers can see the seller's track record.

Can I negotiate the price?

Yes! Use the "Request This Plant" button to send a custom inquiry with your desired quantity and message. The seller can then respond with a custom quote or accept your request.

Is the platform available in Georgian?

Yes! Use the language selector in the navigation to switch between English, Georgian, and French.

What do Available, Limited Stock, and Pre-order mean?

Available — the plant is in stock and ready to ship immediately. Limited Stock — only a few left, buy soon before they're gone. Pre-order — the plant is seasonal or still growing. You pay now and the seller ships when it's ready (e.g., pomegranate trees for autumn planting).

How do I contact support?

Click your profile menu → Support, or scroll to the footer and click "Support". You can send a help request or partnership inquiry. We respond within 24 hours.
